I created this open for the Los Angeles County Channel. I will have a HD 1280×720 version rendered as well. 3D I modeled the microphone with great satisfaction in 3D max.   Set Design - Digital Set Extension: Before & After I designed a digital set extension for this project from the original practical NBC news set. I imported high quality digital stills of the practical news set into Photoshop. I digitally brushed out the three window panes, practical floor and lighting. I exported the re-touched image into After Effects and replaced it with a virtual video screen. Over the years I created heaps of header slides in Photoshop for various NBC digital projects. I started most of the slides with original images and stock photos. The Show Open is created for a History Channel style interview show about Santa Monica. The Photos are old scans from the Santa Monica Library archives. PHOTOS The photos are put through advance color correction process leaving each photo with a ultra unique tone and value. All pieces where originally merged flat with the image. I shot and directed actors on greenscreen. I used After Effects to create the lighting effects, final composite, green screen key and final animations. I used 3D Max to create and animate the non-human assets. The textures for the 3D models where created in Photoshop. In Premiere I edited the audio track and executed the final edit.
